Y3 Calculation Policy
Spring Term...We are continuing to learn about multiplication and division, working with larger numbers and finding out how we can use practical resources to help us. We will also be practising our measuring skills, ensuring that we measure accurately. This will lead on to us being able to convert measurements such as from centimetres to metres. Another of our topics will be fractions. We will understand what a fraction is and spend time comparing them in order to learn more about what the digits represent. Finally, we will be developing our measuring skills further when we cover mass and capacity. |

Number day! We based our work on a book called 'Mummy Math' where the focus was shape. We enjoyed lots of shape activities such as going on a 3D shape hunt outside and reading riddles and clues to identify different 3D shapes.
