As a recently elected Chair of Governors, I am pleased and committed to supporting all the staff, the Governing Body, and ultimately in achieving the maximum potential for all the children at Stenson Fields Primary Community School.
I was elected as a co-opted governor in 2023 and since the chair of governors and I currently have one child at the school. I have over 10 years of experience in finance and operation management and gained many vital skills, of which I will continue to use throughout my time as chair of governors.
As a school, we aim to be inclusive to all members of our community and provide a happy and safe environment. The role of the Governing Body is to ensure the accountability of the Head Teacher and school. We challenge, support, participate in strategic planning and make best use of public resources. We are also committed to engaging with parents wherever possible.
