If your child is selected for an intervention, this will be discussed with you and the progress charted on a provision map. If your child needs an individual SEND support plan, you will be invited to attend a meeting each term, to decide the key objectives for your child and strategies and actions needed. At each meeting, these objectives will be reviewed and new ones set. These meetings may happen more frequently, depending on the needs of your child. Informal discussions with the class teacher, as well as parent consultations, will also allow you to contribute to your child’s education. In addition, you are welcome to make an appointment to discuss your child’s education at any point of the year, with the class teacher, SENCO or head teacher. Your child will also be involved in planning their support and their views brought to the review meetings.
