Charity Work

Lhuentse in Bhutan

Miss Mohain volunteered in school in a small village called Lhuentse in Bhutan. Bhutan is a landlocked country with India and China on its borders. It’s population is very small approximately 800,000 compared to UK's 66 million! Miss Mohain volunteered at Lhuentse Primary School. Miss Mohain had the most amazing time here! Have a look at the photos . What similarities and differences can you see between Stenson Fields School and Lhuentse Primary School?

Fundraising 2022-23

The money raised this year has been spent on gardening tools. Schools in Bhutan do not have care takers to look after the grounds of the schools. Children, parents and staff all pitch in maintain school!

Fundraising 2021-22

In July 2022 our school donated lots of books to Yudrungcholing Primary School in Bhutan. Thank you to everyone who donated money to pay for the cost of shipping the books! The children were over the moon to receive new books for their little library!

A big heart felt thank you to all of Stenson Fields Community as this year we raised over £250 to go to Lhuentse Primary School! This money was spent on cement, paint, gardening hand sickles to maintain the school grounds as well as rice cookers, a cooker to cook curries to prepare food for the children.

See below for all photos!
