What Makes me Special?

During this half term, the children have thought about themselves. They talked about their families and showed each other photos which they spoke about. We have learnt to name different body parts and learnt what our senses are, using them to investigate the world around us. 

The children loved identifying changes that were happening in nature and learnt the word 'Autumn'. We found out what this meant and looked for signs of changes on the trees. 

Along with this, the children engaged with other activities that supported and developed their gross and fine motor skills as well as helping them to work as a team and build relationships with each other. 

Diwali

What a great time we all had, learning about the festival of Diwali. Some of the children spoke about their own experiences and why it is special to them. We had some special time together where Mrs Takhar told us all about what Diwali is. We looked at some traditional clothing, tried some delicious food and even had a go at some dancing. What a great day!
