Meet The Nursery Team

      Miss Thomason (EYFS Lead)                     Miss Wallis (Class Teacher)                   Mrs Burrows (Teaching Assistant)

In Tadpole class, you will meet Miss Thomason who is the class teacher and also the EYFS lead. Another teacher who works with us is Miss Wallis. Mrs Burrows is the teaching assistant in Tadpole class and works with the children every day.

Our Classroom

The Tadpole classroom is split into different areas. This helps the children to find what they need and to know where things go. They are able to use and develop a variety of different skills. We have resources and areas that include:

• Craft
• Construction
• Role Play
• Home corner
• Small world
• Book corner
• Playdoh
• Listening

The children have access in these spaces to continuous provision which is there all the time. As well as this, we add enhancements which are extra resources or activities related to what we have been learning or the children's interests.

Outside

The children have access to our outdoor area all year round. This is a space where they can enjoy activities that they may not be able to do inside such as digging, den building and bike riding. We also use other spaces around school such as the sensroy garden, field and huge sandpit.
