Year 2 have been learning how to keep ourselves healthy. A visitor from the dentist came and taught us how to keep our teeth and mouths healthy.
Mrs Bickerton came to visit us with her son Jack! She told us all about how to look after an adventurous toddler! To look after a young child you need super vision and super speed to keep them safe! A real life super hero!

The Winged Warrior was on a rescue mission to save his friend from a desert island.
His bag was too heavy and he needed our help to work out which items he really needed to take and which were just a luxury!
The Year 2's had great fun playing the Batman song on the xylophones!

Thank you to all the adults who took the time to come into school and read with their children, we have some super readers! We absolutely loved dressing up as our favourite superheros, making super slime, practicing super sewing, creating our own masks and completing the laser beam obstacle course!
In year 2 today we received a letter from the Dragon Hunters. We were asked to search for evidence that the Rainbow Dragon had been nearby. We took photographic evidence of clues found on our search.
We designed and made the 'perfect smoothie'. They were delicious!
It's Arts Week!
Year 2 are learning about a Scottish artist called Steven Brown. We are recreating his art using lots of different materials.
